M-Com was established in January 2001
The products are mainly used in: Laser pointer, laser mouse, laser printer, cell-phone, plastic optic fiber (POF), IrDA wireless transmitter, solar cell.
Technological team: outstanding talents from research institution and big enterprises with PhD or Master degree from the famous domestic or international universities.
M-Com office and factory building at present take up an area of more than 2000 m^2, including clean room of 660 m^2 which has world-class wafer epitaxy and measurement equipment, chip process equipment and SOT packaging equipment.
The wafer epitaxy and measurement equipment included: metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), double crystal X-ray, wavelength and reflectance and measures equipment, ECV thickness analysis instrument and Hall measurement.
With professional practice and designed capability, M-Com is rapidly producing the high quality wafer.
The research and development team in M-Com has strong technique background. All its members graduated from the famous universities in Taiwan or abroad.
Currently, four of them with PhD degree, and three with master degree. The main research topics include high conversion efficiency III-V compound solar cells, high-efficiency 650nm RCLEDs, and high-power single-mode 850nm VCSELs.
