Continuously Transposed Conductor

Continuously Transposed Cable (CTC) is a type of winding wire, which continuously weaved by some strips of insulated rectangular wire according to two stacks arrangement, via special insulated materials. Mainly be used in manufacturing windings of large-Scale oil-immersed power transformers, reactors, and large-capacity dry type transformers. Using CTC to manufacture transformers, increases space factor, reduces cost due to reduction of volume, more important is that reduces circumfluence loss and eddy loss due to magnetic loss, simultaneous improves mechanical strength of winding, shortens winding time.
