How do I use Importers.com?
Importers.com is America's #1 Business-to-Business (B2B) website. We provide online services for international importers, exporters and service providers - making it easy to search and contact companies to conduct trade. All legally registered import/export companies can register FREE.

At Importers.com, companies describe their business in their TradeProfile, list products in TradeProducts, post BUY/SELL TradeLeads, identify and contact potential new trade partners and use TradeResources - all FREE. Importers.com is organized in a conventional way, with clickable tabs at the top of every page, which link to the main sections on the website. The descriptions below will help you navigate Importers.com to get the most from this leading trade website.

Importers.com Navigation Menu

Home	This is the starting point of your Importers.com experience. Clicking on this tab will take you back to the start. From the home page, you can search for trade partners, register your company, Log In, read TradeNews, and access TradeResources.
Trade Pages	TradePages is an online business directory. International importers, exporters and service providers are listed by Industry Category (e.g.: Food & Beverage). Discover new suppliers, vendors, buyers, distributors and more. To search Trade Pages, simply type a keyword into the text area of the Search box and then hit GO. Or, click on an industry category and then use the Search Box features to refine your search (e.g.: select Food & Beverage Importers.com from USA).
Trade Products	Trade Products lets members list their import/export products by industry Category and Sub-Category. Once listed, products are able to be searched in the same way as TradePages. Members can also add pictures to Trade Products. TradeStaff experience shows that exporters with TradeProduct pictures get more TradeMail inquiries than suppliers that do not post product pictures.
Trade Leads	TradeLeads are BUY, SELL or BIZ advertisements for immediate requests. All members can post TradeLeads, add keyword tags, upload pictures and reply to TradeLead postings from members in their industry. TradeLeads can be searched in the same way as TradePages. TradeLeads search results are ranked according to posting date, with the most recent advertisements at the top.
TradeNews	Every 4 hours, Importers.com displays current news articles relating to international trade. On the TradeNews landing page, articles are general in nature, and users can select industry categories to read newly posted articles from that specific industry.
TradeResources	Importers.com has assembled a collection of useful import export resources and links - which are listed in TradeResources. Here you can find basic information about Importers.com services, as well as useful links such as: International Telephone Codes, Commodity Prices, a World Clock, a Currency Converter, and more.
MyAccount	Once a company has registered, they will access their account by logging in with their Username and Password. All account functions - such as adding or changing company information - is managed in MyAccount. This section also provides access to Importers.com TradeMail, where all members receive email inquiries from other members. In addtion, this section provides access to customized buyer/supplier sourcing (TradeCenter), account activity inf (TradeStats) and more.

How many free accounts can I have?
One. All legally registered import export companies can have 1 Free account. Companies that create more than one account are violating Importers.com Terms of Use and these accounts may be Restricted or Banned. Companies that have many divisions (even if they are in different countries) are still required to maintain one and only one account. In addition, it is NOT acceptable for individual sales or trade agents to create distinct accounts representing the same company. Our rules are simple: one company, one account.

How do I SEARCH Importers.com?
At Importers.com, finding new international trade opportunities is simple and it can even be fun. First, decide if you want to search companies (TradePages), in product catalogs (TradeProducts) or in newly posted business advertisements (TradeLeads). Once you chosen how to search, you can move between TradePages, TradeProducts and TradeLeads by selecting the navigation tab on the top left of the search result. In addition, at the top right of search results you can select to view only Buyers or only Suppliers.

TradePages
To find companies that buy or sell the products you're interested in, search TradePages - the Importers.com International Directory of Importers & Exporters. The directory is classified into 14 major industries, with over 1000 detailed industy sub-categories.

From the homepage or TradePages, click on your industry, then select a more specific sub-category. Or, simply type keywords into the Search Box and click GO. Refine your search by using keywords and the drop-down choices in the Search Box. This will help you to find results by business role (Importers, Exporters, Service Providers) and country.

TradeProducts
Browse product catalogs to find importers and exporters in different countries. Click on TradeProducts in the navigation menu at the top of the page. Use keywords to search or click on your industry category and sub-categories to quickly find the specific products you are interested in. Refine your search by using the drop-down choices in the Search Box.

TradeLeads
Search BUY, SELL and BIZ TradeLeads to source current offers from international suppliers. Once you do an industry or keyword search, in the Search bar, select the type of TradeLead offer that interests you. Refine your search by country, if desired.

Search: TradePages. Clothing & Fashion > T-Shirts. Exporters.

Search: TradeProducts. Computers & Electronics > Country: USA > Buyers.

Search: TradeLeads. Keyword: Olive Oil. Offers to SELL.

How can I CONTACT other companies?
Once users have performed a search and identified a company they wish to contact, sending a message is as easy as clicking a mouse button. On the top right of every companies TradePage, click the "Contact Member" button to send an email message.

As you browse search results, click on a business that interests you to view this member’s Trade Page. Here you can read the TradeProfile in detail, view import/export products, see Trade Leads they have posted and of course, you can contact this member.
