What should my TradePage say?
Your TradePage should provide enough detailed business, contact
and product information for other users to be able to understand what you do,
the products you buy/sell and how to contact you. Importers.com strongly recommends
that members take the time necessary to create a detailed, professional TradePage. Importers
and exporters need specific information in order to make business decisions.
Having a complete TradePage that promotes your company well, will result in
more members sending you better qualified TradeMail inquiries.
All TradePages have 3 sections:
- TradeProfile: Business description & Contact information
- TradeProducts: Product catalog
- TradeLeads: Buy/Sell advertisements
Your TradeProfile is the most important part of your TradePage,
as that is what importers and exporters will see first. It should provide a concise overview of your company in 3 or 4 sentences. Your TradeProfile should answer these questions:
- When and where was your company established?
- How many employees and locations do you have?
- What are your primary business activities?
- What are your key import/export products?
- What are your company's top accomplishments?
- How do I know your company can be trusted?
Please note that Your TradeProfile can NOT include
an email address, web site URL nor other contact information - these belong
in the Contact Information section of your TradePage. Members that do not comply with Importers.com Terms of Use may be Restricted or Banned.
TradeProducts is the section where companies can describe the range of products that they import or export. Free Members can list up to 3 TradeProducts. TradeLeads are business advertisements that are time sensitive and relate to products available for sale now or products needed to purchase now.
