of our members is of utmost importance to us. We collect no personal
information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide
that information to us. Please take a moment to review our privacy

Acceptance
By accessing, browsing and/or joining Importers.com, you accept without
limitation or qualification the Terms and Conditions contained below and all
applicable laws. You shall be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement
with respect to your access or use of this Site and any further upgrade, modification,
addition or change to this Site. If you do not accept all of the terms and
conditions of this Agreement, please do not use this Site. By using Importers.com and registering as a member, you agree to comply with our Terms of Use.
As the author of your TradePage - including TradeProfile, TradeProducts & TradeLeads - you take full responsibility for
accuracy, honesty and professionalism. As the author, you confirm your information contains
nothing illegal, pornographic, nor copyright protected. Furthermore, you warrant to NOT engage in the purchase and/or sale of any product/service that is illegal - including copyrighted or trademarked products.
No Liability
Acknowledging that the use of the data contained in this Site requires
judgment and analysis, the User warrants and represents to Importers.com
that it has the necessary expertise and judgement to use the data.
Information available at Importers.com is provided "as is"
without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without
limitation, as to the accuracy of or non-infringement of property rights
in the content, whether or not Importers.com has been given notice of
any such defect. The User assumes the entire risk as to the accuracy
of and the use of this Site and any information that is linked to.
Importers.com, its directors, officers, employees and suppliers are
not liable in contract or otherwise for any direct, indirect, or consequential
loss or damage of whatever nature sustained by a User or others directly
or indirectly as a result of making use of this Site and the data in
it.
In using this Site, Users expressly waive any and all claims that they
may have against Importers.com, its directors, officers, employees and
suppliers arising out of such use, and agree to indemnify Importers.com
against all actions, proceedings, costs, claims, demands, liabilities
and expenses whatsover incurred by Importers.com as a result of a breach
of these Terms and Conditions by a User.
No endorsement
Reference to any product, process, publication, or service of any third party
by trade name, trademark, manufacturer advertisement or otherwise, does not
constitute or imply the endorsement or recommendation of such by Importers.com.
Copyright and Trademarks
Assume that everything you see or read on this Site is copyrighted unless
otherwise noted. The copyright on this site and the underlying files which
implement the features of the pages are the property of Importers.com and
its licensors unless otherwise stated.
The reproduction or use of part or all of the content of this Site in any
way (including without limitation viewing, downloading, printing and saving)
is prohibited. You may not distribute, broadcast, modify, transmit, reuse,
re-post, or use in any form the content of this Site, or use the content to
build other databases without our written permission.
Images submitted to this site must be the property of the submitter and once submitted, become the property of Importers.com. Reuse of Importers.com images without permission
violates privacy and publication rights.
Anything you transmit to us by electronic mail or otherwise post becomes
the property of Importers.com or its assigns and may be used for any
purpose, including, but not limited to reproduction, disclosure, transmission,
publication, broadcast and posting.
The trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively the "trademarks")
displayed on this Site are registered and unregistered trademarks of
Importers.com and others. Member use of trademarks and other coyprighted or protected content on the
Site is strictly prohibited without written permission of the owner.
Linking/Framing
You may link to this Site provided that you notify staff at Importers.com
in writing and agree to remove such link immediately upon request by
us to do so. You may not link to this site in a way that results in
this site being displayed in a frame on any other website.
Confidential Information
User acknowledges that information contained in this Site may be proprietary
and confidential to Importers.com and its users. User agrees that it
will not disclose, indirectly or indirectly, data to third parties other
than as required to carry out the purposes of this agreement.
Acceptable Use
Users agree not to use the Site so as to violate any law, or to misuse
the proprietary information or property of others for his or her own
purposes or otherwise, and not to make postings which are threatening
or defamatory or otherwise injurious to the safety, business or reputation
of others.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Users shall not:

Create multiple accounts for the same business
and/or division/branch, or maintain multiple accounts for different businesses.
One individual/business is entitled to one Importers.com account. Users found
to have created multiple accounts will have accounts deleted and may
be BANNED from Importers.com.

Provide contact information - such as email
address, website URL, phone number, etc. - in any location other than the
contact information section. Contact information is NOT displayed for Free
Members.

Disclose private communications without
permission to parties other than the intended recipient, or disclose confidential
information

Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening,
abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or profane information
of any kind, including without limitation any transmissions constituting
or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, or otherwise
violate any local, provincial, state, national or international law, including
without limitation, export control laws and regulations

Post or transmit any information or software
that the sender is aware contains a virus, worm, or other harmful component

Upload, post, publish, transmit, reproduce,
or distribute in any way, information, software or other material which
is protected by copyright or other proprietary right, without obtaining
the permission of the copyright owner or right holder

Falsify user information provided to Importers.com
or to other users of the Service in connection with the use of Importers.com
services

Account sharing, including without limitation,
letting third parties use your account and password. Only 1 Trade Page account
per person and/or company is permitted.
Importers.com considers the above practices
to constitute abuse of the Terms of Use. Engaging in one or more of these practices
may result in the User's account being NOT Listed, Restricted, BANNED and/or deleted.
Solicitation Restrictions
Further to the limitations described under "Acceptable Use",
for the benefit of its members, Importers.com has established limitations
on the number of messages that Users can send within a given time period.
The primary purpose of this policy is to restrict the number of unwated
solicitations members may receive and to ensure that member companies receive relevant, qualified inquiries.
All Free Members can send a maximum of 15 TradeMail inquiries per
month and receive up to 15 TradeMail inquiries per month. These limitations
were developed with the understanding that contacting other members is the
foundation of achieving trade success, but equally, understanding that some
users may SPAM members with unsolicited messages.
Termination
In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, or for any reason whatsoever,
Importers.com may terminate and/or ban a member or subscriber immediately
without fault or penalty. Importers.com strives to maintain an international
directory of importers, exporters and trade service providers that are active on the website and active in international trade. Members
may be deleted due to inactivity or for any other reason, without recourse. When a member has not
logged in for 6 months, their account status is in jeopardy and may be deleted.
Importers.com provides free membership to importers, exporters and service
providers worldwide. Free usage of Importers.com is offered on a somewhat
limited basis and may be withdrawn at the sole discretion of Importers.com TradeStaff, without recourse.
Applicable Law
You agree that the laws of British Columbia and Canada apply to any
issue that may arise with Importers.com regarding this site, and to
settle such dispute in the courts of British Columbia.
